More departures as Mason overhauls the club

Lincoln City have announced another 6 departures as Mason continues to rebuild the squad ahead of the start of their debut TDE season.

Goalkeepers Jamie Pardington and George Wickens have both departed the club following the termination of their contracts with Mason preferring to look to the youth team for the goalkeeping department this season.

Defenders Josh Honohan, Charlie Parks and Adam Jackson have also departed the club. Striker Freddie Draper has also left Sincil Bank for new pastures.

The biggest surprise so far this season is the departure of Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk. The attacking midfielder has departed with Lincoln taking a £13m hit on the midfielder after a fallout in training between Mudyrk and Dibling.

The 23 year old striker will join up with Will Merry, Rob Street and Ben House in the striker department at Sincil Bank.

Lincoln to face Derby in opening game

Lincoln City have been handed a home tie against Derby County in the inaugural TDE League One season. The highly anticipated tie will be a chance for Lincoln fans to see their new look team and new star striker William Osula in action.

There will be a large number of debutants for Lincoln, with goalkeepers Josh Gracey and Jesse Gracia-Robba both vying for the number 1 jersey since being promoted from the academy, with Gracey expected to start against Derby.

In defence, a huge overhaul has seen a number of players leave with Dara O'Shea, Rory Preston and Orin Aldridge all joining the club. O'Shea will likely start alongside one of Preston and Aldridge.

In midfield, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Tyler Dibling and Jeval Thompson-McKenzie have all joined the club and are all expected to start against Derby while up front a new look front two sees William Osula alongside loanee Will Merry.

Lincoln will want to get off to a good start to springboard their league season!
