So we start yet another season and we must start by apologising for our lack of media in season 33. Our media officer unfortunately left the club early last season and we've only just obtained a replacement this is a person with huge experience at media so we expect the media at rovers to be bigger and better than before.

Welcome to Blackburn rovers: the future is bright, our fanzine for the upcoming season. we've chosen this name due to the successful season both sides had last season. The first team just missed out on promotion in the playoffs and our youth team in our first season in the top devision achieved a top ten finished and were in the title race for a large part of the season. Our next post will be a preview of last season where we will get the managers thoughts on the previous season and plans going forward. Rovers have also already started in the transfer market and will be able to announce some significant movement within the club. After a very good season for both sides last season with Rovers despite the dip in form reaching the playoffs with the first team and finishing in the top half in there first season after being promoted to Premier league 2 everyone at rovers hav reasons to be optimistic about the future of Blackburn rovers football club.

After the revamp of teams it was unclear how things would work out however Rovers were one of the teams who actually improved due to the revamp and achieved our highest finished with the seniours in a long while. Although Rovers missed out on promotion with the first team and form did drop slightly toward the end of the premier league 2 season there is still room to be positive because movement has been made and McNamara and his team have ensured the club are moving forward.

We sat down with Manager McNamara and new under 21ns manager Paul Butler to talk about the previous season and plans going forward. McNamara took the lead in the interview as Paul has only been in the u21ns post for a very short time after just being promoted from the under 18s. Therefor he was there to show unity between the first and academy sides as it’s become a much closer working relationship. McNamara said the following.

“Last season went better than expected for both our sides. My team the first team missed out on promotion after getting nocked out of the playoffs. Given the players we lost wee were tipped not to do as well as we did and people were sceptical after doing a few questionable swap deals however they worked out great for us and we ended up finishing in a great position. We were one of the clubs who thrived due to the revamp of squads and managed to achieve fantastic strides forward.

The only thing that upset me about last season was the loss of form toward the end as we really should have finished in the playoffs more comfortably than we did in the end. We need to sort this problem out of cracking towards the end of seasons when we’ve shown good form, the players really need to build up there mental strength so they can handle the pressure as if you want success your going to be under pressure. It’s my job as a coach to help them navigate through situations like that and hopefully I can in the future.

For next season I’m really excited, we’ve already brought in a younger keeper who is one of the best up and coming young goalkeepers in English football. We’ve also given contracts to Jake Waters and Jack Fletchure from the u21ns and new signings who were meant to be coming from the under 18s to the under 21ns Decandia
And Outtara are unexpectedly going to skip u21ns football and come straight to 1st team despite there ages as either would already be good enough to fit into our first team despite only being 18 ears old. This has allowed us to demote Adam Coyne who has shown huge potential in the first team however will benefit from regular full games in the u21ns and also will white who was contracted a few seasons ago however has not quite made the strides expected. Putting these two down to the under 21ns will give us two further assets to either have for future first team or potentially rase us money as they get better as they are both talented however it’s unclear as of yet weather they have a realistic future at the club, giving them regular game time in the under 21ns with Paul will allow us to monitor them over regular games and decide if they really have a chance. Our plan next season is to make the most of this young talent we have as we have two promising young strikers and it’s my plan to bring another in however it’s unclear yet who that will be.

Going forward next season we will be building our side around the young players as we believe these players are our clubs future it is key that everyone bands together. I am really happy to have this close working relationship with the academy and bringing us closer together has really enabled me to keep regular tabs on the youngsters progression to see who has a chance of making it. Next season we want to attempt to go for promotion and I do believe we have the squad to achieve it however if we don’t do it this season I’m convinced within another 2 to 3 seasons we will be back there.

Football is about long term strategy and planning and we would ask the fans to continue to be patient and support us as we continue to progress. There is a chance there will be bumps along the way however this club is a club with connection and community at the heart so let’s continue to show that.”

Butler said the following.

“Firstly it’s an honour To be given this chance, after my success as under 18s coach this is a natural progression for me moving forwad in my coaching career. I have watched the progress of the under 21ns over the last couple of seasons while managing the under 18s and am really pleased with how they have progressed. Sinse Ian came back to Blackburn the academy has thrived being up near the top of group 2 ever sinse his return and finally managing to get to group one and stay there. This proves to me that there is a strategy for developing young players and I’m excited to be the next coach to continue that.

When I was called by Ian and the board and asked to take the promotion to under 21ns head coach I had no hesitation accepting the roll. The two young head coaches have done fantastic jobs over the last couple of seasons and I’m so proud that Curtis Anderson and Kearan Wright have been promoted to head of youth football at the club as after the success they have achieved over the last couple of seasons getting the club promoted and then keeping them in the first league comfortably and even having a chance of winning it for a huge part of the season they deserve this promotion and I look forward to working closely with them and Ian and his coaching team in order to achieve our ultimate aim and that’s getting players 1st team ready.

Academy football is about success however success is a lot different than first team success, although it’s nice to win things as an academy the main goal of academy football is producing first team players. If a player graduates from academy to first team then from an academy point of view that’s success as that is the roll of a youth academy to produce footballers for our first team or to have successful careers at other clubs.

I’m very proud that Jake and Jack have earned first team contracts following other players such as Tom Achison who made the first team last season on a perminant bases. I’m also not surprised that Michael and Yerime have bypassed my squad and gone straight to the 1st team. Michael has been a key player in the under 18s and his progression especially sinse the youth cup run we went on last season has been amazing. Yerime I’ve only worked with for a very short time as he only joined in the summer however from what I’ve seen of him again I’m not surprised he’s gone straight to the first team, his back ground at an academy like Brentford has made him ready for this opportunity and he’s clearly to good for under 21ns football.

Age to me is just a number, they may both only be 18 ears old however when your ready your ready and development needs to be continued forward unless there is a very good reason for holding a player bak. Michael and Yerime are 2 players who need this chance now and under 21ns football is now unable to benefit them due to the level they’ve reached. I know Ian values youth players and I am expecting both players to be star players next seson despite being very young.

Our strategy for the upcoming season is to again stay in the top devision and attempt to finish as high as we can. The higher we can finish in the top devision the more chance we have to improve players and enable them to progress. As I said earlier in this interview my ultimate goal as an academy coach is to progress players to 1st team level and if we achieve success as a team along the way while doing that it’s a bonus however our main roll is player development.”

So we have reasons to be excited for the upcoming season, while we have given hints of some of the things that have been done already watch out for a follow up post tomorrow where we will be outlining all the changes already made at the club. Rovers have had a very busy pre-season so far, we’ve got a lot to unpack so let’s get straight into it and update you with all the news that has happened over the last week or 2.

There have been a lot of moves in and out of the club, we’ll be doing player interviews separately and as far as possible they will be done in the order we signed them however it’s been that hectic we’ve not had time to announce the signings as they’ve happened as the last couple of weeks sinse the manager came back from his break has been non stop with signings and outgoings Due to how busy this period has been we’ll be doing this in two parts to make it easier for fans to digest. so let’s start off with the players who have left the club.

Firstly we’ve allowed a number of players to go to the ATM due to lack of interest and also due to the club moving in a new direction these players are no longer needed and did not obtain interest from other clubs. They are Randal Kolo Muani, Connor O'Riordan and Max Arnold. Blackburn rovers thank all 3 players for there service and commitment to the club and wish them every success in there future careers. These brought us in much needed cash which is helping us strengthen both our first team and youth options.

Next we’ll move onto our goalkeeping unit, it’s all change in the goalkeeping unit this season with both Felix Godard and Nick Pope our captain being allowed to leave this season we’ll announce who they’ve been replace by when we get to the incoming players. Pope will now ply his trade at Leicester city and Godard leaves for Bournemouth. This has enabled us to bring a young starting goalkeeper in who will not need replacing for seasons to come and a steady backup until under 23s goalkeeper Nick Michalski is strong enough to come in and fill that roll. The deal with Leicester cost us a lot of money however we believe the option we’ve signed makes it worth the outlay. Again Rovers would like to thank both keepers for there outstanding service and commitment to the club and we wish both goalkeepers well in there careers at there new clubs.

Now we go into defence again there have been significant changes in this department with a number of our main options from last season leaving. We therefor say good bye to Noussair Mazraoui, Emerson Royal and Adam Coyne. Noussair Mazraoui will go to brentford managed by caretaker manager Eduardo and Emerson Royal will ply his trade at new league 1 team who Hull city under the caretakership of Ryan field who have come onto the circuit this season we also obtained a defender as part of the Royal deal which again we’ll announce in the incoming players. Coyne will go and apply his trade at Norwich city which is a great move for a player who has been mainly backup however has been consistent when played letting Adam go especially was a tough choice however for reasons which we’ll explain as part of our incoming section of this post we had to make the sacrifice for the sake of a young player’s development.

Now let’s go into midfield and this is the one department that has not changed a huge amount in fact there have been more incomings than out goings. The only midfielder who is no longer in the first team squad is Will White, he’s gone down to play in the u21ns team again we’ll explain why this is in our incoming post. Apart from one coming in on loan and one coming up from the under 21ns the options are pretty much the same in this department however the player on loan gives us a very good option which will hopefully allow us to really improve as a team.

Let’s finish our outgoing section with the strikers so again it’s all change in this department with none of our first team strikers apart from Armando Broja still part of the squad and Broja is lightly to be leaving as well so it’s going to be a completely new strike force for the upcoming season. Ronnie Stutter has gone to Norwich city as part of the Coyne deal which we’ll again explain in more detail in the incomings section. Joshua Zerkzee has left for new league one outfit Sheffield united the agreement is currently a loan deal until the end of the season with Sheffield united lightly to buy him at the end of the season. Randal Colo Muani as previously explained left for the ATM due to the club going in a new direction and needing the finance his sale gave us to bring a new player in and help us increase squad depth.

Armando Broja, Jacob Fowler and Juniour Nsangou will also be leaving the club within the next few days. Nsangou is currently part of a bidding war and FOwler is lightly to be leaving for the ATM along with Boja to explore options.

We asked the manager his thoughts on the outgoing players and he said the following.

“Letting all these players go was tough as last season they wer all part of what was a fantastic season for the club and every single one of them contributed in some way to our season weather playing in the league or the cup or both however as a football manager I hav to think about the long-term future of the club as a whole and it was decided due to the direction we’re going in these players were no longer required therefor we felt it best to allow them to leave and in the case of Connor, Randal and Max explore new options.

Felix was our number 1 and captain for a number of seasons. Unfortunately when the new system came into place his development suffered and he’s not made the strides I’d hoped he’d make in order to make it therefor we felt it was unfair given his age to be stuck at a club where he will no longer develop especially with the new number 1 we’ve brought in, the backup we’ve replaced him with is older and slightly more experienced however it is expected that once Nick Michalski reaches a better level in the under 21ns he will replace our new backup and potentially depending on development could even challenge our new number 1. Nick Pope was a fantastic goalkeeper for us last season however again we feel due to his age we needed a younger option so this position is now sorted for a long time which allows us to work on the rest of the team over the next few seasons to make us stronger. When we were offered the chance to bring in a good younger option we could not refuse this opportunity and Nick is more than capable of handling himself at Leicester city given how well he played for us last season. His experience was invaluable last season and he was one of the main reasons why our season was so good because we wer not blessed with scoring loads and loads of goals however his assistance to the defence meant that we could get results with narrow scorelines due to his performances.

Noussair and Emerson again were tough players to let go, both players did fantastic last seson and for the majority of it had to play out of position as centre backs due to the young fullbacks we had. Unfortunately when we brought Nathon and Jared and Brandan in and with Tom Achison having to be promoted early due to his development it meant there game time was significantly reduced therefor given that we needed to create assets to allow us to strengthen we decided to let them go, also getting a defender for Emerson was something I did not expect however I’m very excited about how he will add to the team in the upcoming season. Adam again he was tough to let go however he’s been an amazing player for us since he signed and had to play mainly off the bench and in the cup however he’s been consistent and deserves this move he’s getting, again we had to allow this move to help a young players development and the defender we’ve signed will allow this player to develop again I’ll explain this in more depth in the second part of the interview. Connour again like Felix played fantastic for us however again he’s suffered sinse better players have come in and just has not developed to the required standard therefor we felt it best to allow him to go and explore his options.

Will White again has shown glimpses of potential, however like Felix and Connour again he’s suffered with better players coming in, the performances however I saw from him last season when I promoted him to provide squad depth have convinced me to send him bak to the under 21ns to see if he can show what he’s capable of and potentially catch up. He’s still only very young so he’s got chance if he applies himself to ether play for us or improve his value to get a move to another club. Max again last season he provided fantastic experience and did well the games he played. Again with him it was the fact we know he’s getting older and given the direction our midfield is going in this season we felt it was only fair to allow him to explore his options.

Joshua shown his ability to me toward the end of last season, however with one of our under 21ns being promoted and given a big contract he was only going to be 3rd choice this season. When the Sheffield United caretaker approached us with the possibility of a loan deal for one of our strikers we chose Joshua given the plans we had for the younger striker. Joshua should also shine in league one and this will allow him to play for a club where he’ll be a main man and give him the chance to find a home where he can be the main man and show his true potential as there is an agreement with Sheffield united that they will buy him at the end of the season. Randal again was a very tough choice to let go however with him he was going to be 4th choice this season and this helped us create much needed cash flow which has enabled us to strengthen our strike force which we’ll be explaining in the next part. Randal is a great striker and provided fantastic backup to Ronnie and Josh last season and sometimes even out performing them.”

SO that’s our outgoings. Keep an eye out for part 2 of this post where we will introduce the new signings who have arrived at the club. Over the weekend they’ll all be afficially introduced and press conferences will be happening. So now we move onto the incomings for the club, we’ll be posting the players as they currently are on our roster, we ask fans to keep an eye on our public roster as some of these ratings may change as we’re still waiting for a few actions to be complete therefor our public roster will have the most up to date information.

So firstly let’s look at our new goalkeeping unit, we have 4 quality goalkeepers and we’re excited about the options we have in both our seniours and academy options. So firstly let’s take a look at the 1st team options firstly our new number 1.

Taking our number 1 slot will be 24 year old emerging star Robin Roefs. The Holand goalkeeper has taken England by storm sinse his arrival and has already been rated as one of the best young goalkeepers at the top level of the English game. After a great first season at Leicester city after being poached from Sunderland the 24 year old now comes to promotion chasing Blackburn rovers to continue his career with a young exciting team. At 6ft 4 Roefs is a quick goalkeeper with fantastic shot stopping skills and has also shown his ability to take charge of situations in the defence a skill that is very important for us in our goalkeeper. Roefs willingness to step down to the championship is a wonderful sign of how seriously he takes his development and we suspect he’s going to be a main player for us for seasons to come. He also provides fantastic leadership skills for a keeper who is still quite new to the English game.

Our backup spot will be taken by young up and coming Greek goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis. Despite only being new to the English game the 23 year old Greek goalkeeper has already shown his ability to keep clean sheets. Again at 6ft 4 Tzolakis provides us with presence and a commanding physical stature. Early on in his career in the English game he’s already shown his ability as a goalkeeper and despite not being as good as Robin Roefs it’s expected the Greek will get a chance to show what he’s capable of in the cup and will be a good second choice options allowing Nick Michalski to continue his development in the under 21ns for the upcoming season. The keepers willingness to leave a top team like Bournemouth who have recently retained back to back top flight titles to step down to the championship again shows his willingness to work on his development. Although a backup for the majority of the season Tzolakis is still expected to become a really good player for the club and we fully expect him to use this opportunity to develop in order to get a number 1 spot somewhere in the future.

Our 3rd goalkeeper to come in is 16 year old Karol Krajewski, despite the young goalkeeper only coming in this summer the way he’s trained so far has already enabled him to get the backup place in the under 21ns squad as part of the new youth intake for the upcoming season. Although only 16 he’s already an impressive 6ft 4 inches tall therefor again provides good physical presence. Krajewski although only 16 has already shown his ability as a goalkeeper and his reading of the game. His ability to command situations at such a young age shows his potential for the future. Although he’ll start off as Backup to Nick Michalski again the young Pol is expected to take over the number 1 slot within 1 to 2 seasons depending on his development and how he impresses in the youth cup. This keeper shows high potential and everyone is excited to see how the young Polish keeper will develop.

So now let’s move onto defence and again this has shown significant change with 4 of the players who were here last season at the end and 2 new options coming in. all six defenders however are still quite new to the perminant first team squad as two only came in toward the end of the season and Achison broke through from the under 21ns on a perminant bases toward the end of the season as well. So let’s have a look at the two new options who have arrived.

Charley Hughes has arrived from Hull which was part of the deal which allowed Emerson Royal to leave, we managed to obtain him plus a £15,000,000 transfer fee as well. Hughes at 22 is still a very young defender and although expected to be a backup player this season he has already shown significant improvement despite only being at the club for a short time. Hughes has already shown his talent as a ball playing centre half and although his passing is not the best it’s something he’s keen to improve on. He has fantastic leadership skills as well which will enable him to provide a great option for cup matches and league games where we are short of options. With only 6 defenders in the squad he’s still lightly to get a significant amount of game time.

Our other defender who has arrived is Calum Moreland, the 19 year old joins us from Norwich city which has allowed Adam Coyne to make the move in the other direction. Coming through at Aston villa the young defender has already adapted well to 1st team football. Moreland has already shown his willingness to potentially train as a full back given his good passing in order to improve his chances of getting game time. While lightly to start off as a backup player in the league and playing full matches in cup games it’s expected that the young talented defender will more than lightly push for a 1st team starting spot. We did this deal allowing Adam Coyne to leave to help the long term development of Michael Decandia as it’s vital he is allowed to go down to the under 21ns as soon as possible.

Young defender Michael Decandia Has also been training between the under 21ns and 1st team, after impressing in the under 18s last season as the captain Paul Buckler new under 21ns coach decided to promote him however he’s improved to such an extent the first team manager decided to take a look at the youngster. Given his age and lack of experience it’s been decided that he’s lightly to have more of an impact in the next two seasons by playing u21ns football. While expected to start in the 1st team squad he’s quickly expected to return to the under 21ns for a large part of the season. Until that is possible he’s lightly to spend a few games showing weather he’s capable of long term first team football so he can still get maximum development from the season therefor it’s expected that in the short term he’ll get an opportunity to show what he can do so he’s not losing out on playing time while Williams develops enough to enable him to go back down. This means for the short term Nathon Colins is expected to provide strong backup so Decandia is able to develop to the maximum he can as we need him to get the max amount of minutes possible for his development.

Harvy Pates has also won promotion to the u21ns after Theo Julienne has decided to take an opportunity at another club abroad left back is a position we’ve struggled to fill for a while so Harvy will provide a good option in this position.

Now let’s go into midfield again this aspect of the squad is largely un changed as only 1 new option as arrived in the 1st team, Jack Fletcher was set to be promoted from the u21ns however thanks to an unexpected training camp this will allow us to captain an improving midfielder which means after signing our new player on loan Fletcher can remain in the under 21ns to continue improving his quality and experience. Another of our intake players Otara has gone on loan to Norwich city in order to play under 21ns football.

Coming in is young quality English Midfielder Harvy Elliott, the 22 year old joins us on loan from Everton for the upcoming season. Given Everton’s improvements in midfield this season Elliot found himself down the pecking order. A season in our squad should enable him to improve massively and be able to fight for his place back in the Everton squad next season as he’ll be one of our main players. Elliot has developed into a very good all round midfielder so is expected to be a fantastic option in this position.

Coming in to the under 21ns squad is 16 year old Thomas Wiles he’s just become a youth intake layer at Norwich city however he’s come on loan to develop with us so our intake player Otara could get experience in the under 21ns. Wiles still gets a chance to develop with us and will play a large part in our seson moving forward as due to being in two competitions we’re going to need options and already in training he’s shown far more ability than better players than him in the squad so is already expected to play in Paul Buckler’s 1st 11.

Now finally we get onto the position that has had the most change, we’ve got a completely new strike force for the upcoming season. This is potentially the most exciting department of our team.

At only 19, Jake Waters has shown fantastic goalscoring ability at both Everton and ourselves. Last season was a quieter season for him given his standards however over the close season he’s shown huge improvement which has made him our number 1 first team striker. Waters although only 19 has already shown his ability as a goal scorer and given the massive improvements he’s made is expected to be a top player and it’s hoped his improvement will enable us to have a fantastic chance of improving on last season and finally achieving promotion.

Thierno Barry is our big star signing of the season, he was our auction target and he was the player we’d been looking at all season. Although he was not the 1st choice bid in the auction he was Manager Ian McNamara’s first choice. Along with Jake waters he provides significant hight pace and physical presence. The 23 year old French forward is expected to be a huge success at Ewood park and gives us one of the best young strike forces in the league and it’s hoped Waters and Barry will enable us to finally achieve our dream of getting promoted to the top flight.

Thirdly we have a returning player to the club, he’s a player who had huge success with us when at the club last time and at the time it was tough to allow him to leave. Although it’s meant losing Ronnie Stutter who’s performances for us last season caught the eye of Norwich city this is a player who is expected to have a fantastic impact for us this seson. Ismaïla Sarr is going to be a key signing for us and as our 3rd choice striker he’s expected to get a lot of game time in the upcoming season. The 27 year old forward gives us huge skill and pace up front and is expected to be the success he was last time he arrived.

Our forth striker who has come in will play in the under 21ns for the upcoming season, he’s our fourth youth player signed in this summers intake after Paul Buckler decided to again look to his successful under 18s side from last season Harvy Higgins who shown amazing goalscoring ability last season is expected to be a key player for Paul Buckler’s under 21ns side.

Also our other two new signings have arrived from Hull city, George Akinniranye and Alex Edey, the 16 and 17 year old were spotted by Paul Buckler in a recent pre-season youth tournament just as we were thinking about weather we wanted to take them on we saw they were for sale and Hull city were willing to do a deal so we could obtain both. As our youth team play a 4 3 3 formation having 5 forwards is useful to ensure we have options if players are out injured or suspended. Both players will need to be patient and fight hard as our under 21ns options are very good however these are two players that we believe have potential.

The manager said the following about the incoming business.

“This is great business for the club and we’ve kept the team young and hungry. I am really excited for our squad in the upcoming season and feel that all the signings are positive improvements. It’s exciting to move forward with a fantastic squad and we’re looking forward to seeing what we can achieve.

Robin Roeffs is a fantastic number 1 and a fantastic long-term replacement for Nick Pope. Already although only having been in English football for a short time he’s become one of the best up and coming young keepers in the top flight, the fact we were able to sell our project to such a high quality player shows the strides we’ve made forward recently. It’s not easy to convince a player to step down to the championship however the fact he was willing to do this shows the project we’ve got here and also proves we can attract good players. Konstantinos Tzolakis will act as our backup keeper, again the fact we were able to attract a keeper who has been at a club who have won back to back top flight titles again shows the strides forward our club are making. Konstantinos is a fantastic player and will push Robin hard despite Robin being a better goalkeeper. We’re also really excited to have Karol in our under 21ns, the 16 year old is a fantastic goalkeeper and despite his age has already shown amazing ability and potential, we fully expect him to become a top goalkeeper and are looking forward to monitoring his development moving forward.

We are excited to have captured Charley although he’s un proven at this level he’s got high potential and we’re excited about how he could improve at our club. He’s very eager to improve the weaker parts of his game and his willingness to learn was what convinced us to take a chance on him when Hull offered him to us. He’s a player who I believe could push our main back 4. Callum is a fantastic signing and although only 19 he’s already shown amazing talent and is fully expected to again push our main back 4. Michael has trained very well in pre-season and he’s going to be a first team player for us long term for sure. We however feel given the options we’ve got his best option is to go and play under 21ns football although I am planning to take a good luck at him at the start of the season until Brandan becomes good enough for us to demote him. Nathon understands the situation and has agreed to be backup for the start of the season as he’s keen to help the youngster with his development. We’re glad to se Harvy get his promotion and are looking forward to seeing how he adapts to under 21ns football.

Harvy Elliott is a fantastic signing, we’re really happy that he was willing to come on loan to our club and we’re delighted to be able to assist Everton manager Ryan Field with his development, we watched him closely last season and he was a key player for Ryan’s team, given there improvements however Ryan new he needed game time so asked us if we’d be willing to take him. Having a key player like him in our team enabled us to keep our up and coming young midfielders together in the youth team which is key moving forward as it allows us to captain one of our backup midfielders to enable us to do this. Thomas is a great player and we’re looking forward to helping with his development as Norwich are assisting us with our intake players development so we’re happy we can assist Thomas with his. Alex and I have a good relationship in regards to player development so when he offered the two deals to help me out I was eager to accept. Thomas will be a key player in the team. Will again he’s not lightly to make it long term however he’ll really help our under 21ns out for the upcoming season.

Jake is a player I’ve loved watching develop in the youth team, he’s a natural goal scorer and his improvement in the pre-season has been remarkable. I fully expect him to be a fantastic number 9 for our club and I feel he is going to be a key player for us. Despite only being 19 he’s a player who could be vital for us for seasons to come both in the championship and beyond. Thierno is a fantastic player and we’re happy to have made such a fantastic signing, he’ll be a great partner for Jake and we fully expect the two of them to be key for us long-term. Both strikers provide hight power and pace and are both goal scorers.

I am really excited to have Ismaïla back, he’s a player with pace and a great goal scorer who can also play on the wing. He was fantastic when he played under me last time so I fully expect him to be a fantastic signing for us.

I’m also excited to See how Harvy, George and Alex will develop as our new under 21ns strikers. They are strikers with huge ability and talent and we’re looking forward to following there development.”

There are our incomings so far for the upcoming season, the club have reason to be optimistic and excited and we’re looking forward to seeing what this seson can bring.
