Manchester city 0-4 Blackburn.

A fantastic result for the lads and continues our promising start in devision 1. All 3 strikers getting on the score sheet was also very good to see. There is no doubt the red card for city helped us in this game especially as it was so early on however we still had to take advantage of having the extra man and we did that very well. Our strikers were a constant threat through out and what I liked about Chesworth especially is although he kept missing a lot he kept coming back for more and finally got his goal. Waters was a threat throughout and his higher quality shown in this one. I know we won't have many easy games this season and if City had been at full strength i'm pretty sure this would have been a much closer game. We'll however take it and hopefully we can take this forward and continue our form in the league so we can comfortably remain in this devision.

Burnley_U21s 1 - 0 Wolverhampton_U21s

Burnley U21s produced a dominant display to edge Wolverhampton U21s 1–0, though the scoreline barely reflected their control. The Clarets created chance after chance, with Cotcher and Wetshi both testing goalkeeper Wolves keeper Benjamin, who kept Wolves in the contest with a string of excellent saves. The breakthrough finally arrived just before half-time when Sweeney unleashed a stunning long-range strike that flew past Benjamin and into the net. After the break Burnley continued to press, hitting the woodwork several times and forcing more saves. Wolves rarely threatened, and the young Clarets comfortably saw out a deserved victory.
